Bengaluru, Hyderabad voters flagged for potential deletion from electoral rolls
Nearly half of Bengaluru's 1.03 crore voters have been flagged by the Karnataka Special Investigating Unit (SIR) for potential deletion from the draft electoral roll. In Hyderabad, the SIR has flagged nearly 10 lakh voters for reverification. Officials stated that being flagged does not automatically mean a voter's name will be deleted.
