Regional Ring Road projects face delays and changes in plans
The Regional Ring Road project, which includes several ring roads across India, has faced fresh delays due to extensions of bid deadlines. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has extended the bid deadline for the sixth time. The Union government has shared key updates on the Vizhinjam-Navaikulam Outer Ring Road plan. The projects are expected to be completed by November 2026 and 2027, respectively.
