Parliament Disrupted by Opposition Protests Demanding Home Minister's Statement
Both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha proceedings were disrupted and adjourned multiple times due to protests by opposition parties. The opposition demanded a statement from Home Minister Amit Shah regarding alleged police action against students. Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar reportedly asked Minister Kiren Rijiju to convey the opposition's sentiments to the Home Minister.
