Delhi rain causes open drains to become dangerous, with one missing person and near-rescues
Heavy rains in Delhi have caused open drains to become hazardous. In Jagatpur, three schoolchildren fell into an open drain but were rescued by an auto driver and locals. Separately, a man went missing after falling into an open drain during the rain-hit period. The incidents highlight the dangers posed by open drains following rainfall in the city.
