Indian LGBTQIA+ athletes return from International Gay Games
Two athletes from Karnataka, Goaty and Pawar, participated in the International Gay Games 2026, the world's largest LGBTQIA+ sporting and cultural event. They were among three participants from India. The athletes have urged the Karnataka State government to create more inclusive sporting spaces. Bengaluru's LGBTQIA+ athletes also returned from the event.
