Indian Courts Address Actor, Doctor, and Politician Cases
The Delhi High Court has refused to quash a criminal case against Telugu actor Venkatesh and others. Separately, the Delhi High Court upheld a case against a doctor accused of performing an abortion on a minor without age verification, stating a minor's consent is insufficient for the procedure. The Supreme Court has closed the Bofors case, rejecting a final plea against the acquittal of the Hinduja brothers. Additionally, the Supreme Court refused to reject an election petition against former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel.
