Retired IAS Officer Denied Bail in Recruitment Scam

A retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer has been denied bail in connection with a recruitment examination paper leak case. The officer is accused of involvement in the alleged leak of questions for the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) recruitment. Separately, a suspended IAS officer was also denied bail in a Rs 657-crore bank scam case, reportedly involving alleged quid pro quo dealings.
