CBI files chargesheet in Chandranath Rath murder case, names 11 accused
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a chargesheet in the murder case of Chandranath Rath. The chargesheet names 11 accused individuals. Among the accused are two BJP workers, Sagar Sonkar and his brother Sahib Sonkar. The CBI alleges that Sagar Sonkar hired shooters from Uttar Pradesh for the murder. Chandranath Rath was killed on May 6 in Madhyamgram. Rath was a close associate of Suvendu Adhikari.
