FDA Orders IIT Bombay Messes to Halt Operations Over Hygiene Lapses

Mumbai's Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has ordered two messes at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay to cease operations. The FDA cited a lack of necessary permissions and significant hygiene lapses as reasons for the shutdown. Additionally, four eateries had their licenses suspended following the inspection.
