Accused in Palani Temple Land Scam Dies in Judicial Custody
S. Anwardeen, a 65-year-old advocate arrested in connection with an alleged ₹100-crore land scam involving property of the Palani Temple, died on Friday night. He died in judicial custody in Madurai after reportedly developing serious health complications. The arrest was made by the CB-CID.
