FSSAI flags Diageo whisky's 'American oak casks' claim as misleading
India's Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has warned liquor company Diageo that its claim of whisky being "matured in American oak casks" is misleading. The FSSAI stated that most of the product had not undergone maturation in such casks. The Telegraph reported that FSSAI is challenging this claim, labelling it as misleading.
