Earthquake Tremors Felt in Nashik and Surat Due to Heavy Rains

Earthquake tremors measuring 4.3 magnitude were felt across Nashik and parts of Gujarat, including Surat and Vapi, forcing residents to evacuate their homes. Scientists attribute the tremors to increased fluid pressure in the ground following heavy rainfall in July, which is causing shifts along old geological faults. The event caused panic among the affected population.
