Fugitive Arjun Ayanki Arrested After Police Search in Kerala
Police have arrested Arjun Ayanki, a history-sheeter accused in a gold smuggling case, in Kannur after a multi-day search. His brother, Akhil, was taken into custody in Thrissur. CCTV footage showed Ayanki allegedly switching vehicles to evade capture. Authorities launched 'Operation Grip' to apprehend Ayanki and his associates. A new case has also been filed against Ayanki for allegedly defaming the Kerala Chief Minister on social media.
