Partner Arrested Seven Months After Indian-Origin Woman's Murder in Canada
Canadian police arrested 32-year-old Abdul Ghafoori on Friday in connection with the death of his Indian-origin girlfriend, Himanshi Khurana. Khurana was found dead at a Toronto residence on December 20. Ghafoori was apprehended at an airport and faces a first-degree murder charge. The arrest occurred approximately seven months after the incident.
