JNU Cancels Auditorium Booking for Umar Khalid Book Discussion
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) cancelled the booking of the School of Social Sciences-I auditorium for an event on August 10. The event, organized by the JNUSU, was to discuss Umar Khalid's book 'Fractured Communities' on the occasion of the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples. JNU administration stated the booking was cancelled due to non-disclosure of full facts. The JNUSU announced it would proceed with the discussion despite the cancellation.
