Railway Board Approves CBTC Signalling for Bengaluru Metro Lines
The Railway Board has granted in-principle approval for the implementation of Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC) signalling systems on the Pink and Blue lines of the Namma Metro in Bengaluru. This approval is for the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) project. The Pink Line and the Blue Line, which extends to the airport, will benefit from this advanced signalling technology.
