Jindal Stainless Plans Maharashtra Project

Jindal Stainless will identify a site for its Rs 40,000-crore project in Maharashtra within the next two quarters. The proposed stainless steel facility will have a capacity of 4 million tonnes per annum and will be constructed in phases. The first phase is expected to be operational in 4 years. The project is valued at Rs 40,000 crore. The company is currently scouting for a suitable location in Maharashtra.
