Border Incident: Indian Detained, Smuggler Shot Amidst Tension
Tension escalated on the India-Bangladesh border after Bangladeshi nationals allegedly abducted an Indian man. In response, the Border Security Force (BSF) shot a Bangladeshi smuggler. Separately, a woman from West Bengal was detained in Mumbai and reportedly sent across the Bangladesh border. The woman's mother expressed distress over her son's situation.
