Jharkhand CM Addresses Exam Reforms Amidst Protests and Political Clashes
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced that over 8,500 suggestions have been received from students regarding exam reforms and that an accountable system will be built. He also announced the cancellation of the 14th JPSC civil services exam in the Assembly. Protesting students, however, rejected talks with a government panel and sought direct dialogue with the CM, with some students making a symbolic gesture of cutting a cake on his birthday, stating he was "hiding." Meanwhile, BJP MPs demanded a CBI probe into a paper leak, and the opposition alleged that NDA MPs clashed with opposition MPs over a protest in Jharkhand.
