Mobile Phone Found in Rape Convict Prajwal Revanna's Jail Cell
A mobile phone, along with a pen drive and charger, was discovered in the prison cell of former MP Prajwal Revanna, who is serving a life sentence for rape convictions, during a raid at Parappana Agrahara Central Jail in Bengaluru. A fresh First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against Revanna and another inmate, Prathap Rai, who was also found with a mobile phone. The discovery has prompted questions about how prohibited electronic devices entered the high-security facility, and an inquiry is underway. A prison official has reportedly been suspended.
