Amit Shah offers Parliament debate; Rahul Gandhi demands accountability for student crackdown
Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated he was ready for a debate in Parliament and to answer all opposition questions, even suggesting the session could extend late into the night. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi rejected Shah's debate offer, demanding accountability for an alleged crackdown on students during protests. Gandhi also claimed Modi's image was destroyed and that the Prime Minister and Shah must face consequences. The opposition also raised concerns about the FCRA Bill, calling it anti-minority, while the government defended it, stating foreign funds cannot flow without law. The FCRA Bill was sent to a Joint Parliamentary Committee.
