Multiple Individuals Lose Lakhs in Separate Investment Scams
Three separate incidents across Karnataka and Maharashtra have resulted in individuals losing significant sums of money to investment scams. In Udupi, a man was defrauded of Rs 32.68 lakh. In Mangaluru, another man lost Rs 12.87 lakh to an investment fraud. Separately, a student in Pune lost Rs 83.8 lakh in a fake foreign stock market investment scam. The total reported losses across these incidents amount to over Rs 1.29 crore.
