Rooftop Solar Scheme Sees High Application and Installation Numbers
The PM-Surya Ghar Scheme has received 7.77 million applications for rooftop solar systems. As of the latest reports, 4.19 million such systems have been installed nationwide under the scheme. In Kerala, Tata Power SolarRoof has alone completed over 61,000 rooftop solar installations, indicating a growing demand for residential solar solutions in the state. This growth is attributed to government incentives and increased awareness of renewable energy benefits.
