Pakistani National Arrested in West Bengal with Suspected Spy Materials
West Bengal's Special Task Force (STF) arrested a Pakistani national, identified as Wahab Alam alias Rana Rauf, near the India-Bangladesh border in Habra. Authorities recovered fake identity documents, photographs of Fort William, and a map from the suspect. The STF is investigating potential links to Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and alleged espionage activities targeting the Indian Army, Navy, and Railways. Another individual was also apprehended in connection with an interstate arms racket in Pandabeswar.
