Muthoot Fincorp Files for Rs 3,000 Crore IPO
Muthoot Fincorp has filed draft papers with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) to raise Rs 3,000 crore. The company intends to use the funds to strengthen its capital base and support business expansion. The IPO consists entirely of a fresh issue of equity shares. Muthoot Fincorp, which has operated in the gold loan business for over two decades, reported increased profits and revenue in the last fiscal year.
