Jharkhand students protest job exam irregularities for 20 days
Students in Jharkhand have been protesting for 20 days over alleged irregularities in recruitment exams conducted by JPSC and JSSC. The protest has entered a deadlock, with some students on hunger strike and others hospitalized due to deteriorating health. Students are demanding a CBI inquiry into the JPSC-JSSC exams and questioning the government's delay in cancelling the JSSC-CGL exam. Security has been increased around the Chief Minister's residence. Police have used water cannons and lathi charges against protesting students during a march to the assembly.
