Former Ranji Player Killed in UP Encounter After Being Declared Most Wanted
A man identified as Satpal alias Sattu, who had previously played two Ranji Trophy matches for Punjab, was killed in an encounter with police in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. He was accused of kidnapping and raping a minor girl from a village in the Titawi area. Police stated he was a most-wanted criminal in two states and sustained two bullet injuries during the encounter.
