Jharkhand Exam Protest: FIR Against 300, Protesters Plan 'Tiranga Yatra'
Police in Jharkhand have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against approximately 300 "miscreants" in connection with a protest march to the Assembly on August 10. The FIR names 300 unnamed individuals. The protest, related to a recruitment exam, has entered its 21st day. In response to the FIR and ongoing agitation, student protesters are planning a 'Tiranga Yatra' (Tricolour March) on August 15 to spread a message of unity. Some reports mention police used lathi charge during the August 10 protest in Ranchi, and seven arrests were made as the CID conducted raids amid the exam scam allegations.
