Chamoli Tunnel Incident: Workers Trapped, Rescued Amidst Water and Debris
An under-construction tunnel in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, experienced a mishap when water and debris entered, trapping workers. Reports indicate varying numbers of fatalities, with some outlets stating six deaths and others nine. A total of 16 to 22 workers were initially reported trapped, with 14 to 18 rescued.
