BBC seeks US court help for Trump family testimony in $10bn defamation suit
The BBC has asked a US court to help secure testimony from Donald Trump's family members in a $10 billion defamation lawsuit. The broadcaster is seeking documents and statements related to the case. A court has asked Trump's legal team to respond to the BBC's request. Separately, Donald Trump's media company, Truth Social, is facing a lawsuit over allegations that it sold faster access to his posts for $100,000, a practice described as 'profoundly corrupt'. The judge overseeing Trump's hush-money trial, Juan Merchan, has also had his daughter's firm come under federal investigation.
