Fugitive Drug Kingpin Virender Singh Basoya Extradited from UAE
India's Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has secured the return of fugitive drug kingpin Virender Singh Basoya from the UAE. Basoya is reportedly involved in a multi-crore cocaine case. Following his extradition, Union Home Minister Amit Shah issued a warning to drug traffickers, stating that they would be pursued regardless of their hiding place. The operation to bring Basoya back was reportedly named 'Operation Global Hunt'.
