Iran offers $30,000 bounty for killing or capturing US soldiers
Iran's military announced a bounty of $30,000 for killing or capturing U.S. soldiers, with the reward doubled if carried out by a woman. Army chief Amir Hatami stated the plan followed "large number of requests" to participate. The announcement comes amid stalled peace talks and a halt in oil tanker movement through the Strait of Hormuz. There have been no known deployments of U.S. ground troops in Iran during the West Asia war, except for a rescue mission in April.
