CEO Fired After Mass Zoom Layoffs, Seeks Return
Vishal Garg, the Indian-origin CEO of Better.com, has been fired from his position. Garg had previously gained notoriety for laying off approximately 900 employees during a Zoom call shortly before Christmas. He was replaced by a hedge fund manager who had recently joined the company's board. Following his dismissal, Garg reportedly demanded his job back.
