Punjab Police Foils Terror Plot, Recovers IED in Amritsar
Punjab Police in Amritsar Rural have foiled a terror plot by recovering a 690-gram improvised explosive device (IED). The explosive was found in a suspicious packet, and a timer was also recovered. The Bomb Disposal Squad successfully defused the IED, ensuring public safety. A case has been registered under the Explosive Substances Act at the Ramdas police station. The recovery comes ahead of Independence Day, with heightened security measures in place.
