Bombay HC fines FDA over shop licence, separate notices issued to actors
The Bombay High Court imposed a cost of ₹5 lakh on the Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for not restoring a Pune shop's licence. Maharashtra FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe stated he would examine the order. Separately, the FDA issued notices to actors Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Tiger Shroff regarding their endorsement of a Vimal Elaichi advertisement. Mundhe stated that no one would be spared and all are accountable. Mukesh Khanna criticized the actors for endorsing the product.
