Annamalai alleges kickbacks by Tamil Nadu ministers; CM Vijay apologizes for minister's remark
Tamil Nadu BJP chief K. Annamalai claimed to possess an audio clip alleging that some ministers in the state government are demanding kickbacks of 2-4% on government tenders. He did not name specific ministers but urged Chief Minister M.K. Stalin to control his officials. Separately, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin offered an apology in the Assembly after a minister referred to former Chief Minister Karunanidhi without an honorific, following a protest by the DMK. Annamalai also commented on the incident, defending the Chief Minister's government.
