Students in Jharkhand are protesting alleged irregularities in the JPSC and JSSC examinations. The protest has entered its 15th day, with some participants on a hunger strike. The Jharkhand government has invited the agitating students for a seventh round of talks, scheduled for August 22. Some protesters have urged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to visit the protest site and withdraw support from the state government. Students have threatened to surround the Chief Minister's residence on August 20 if their demands are not met. One protester expressed concerns about their health, stating, "I Don't Think I Will Survive Longer."
