Family Disputes Lead to Violent Attacks in Separate Incidents
Multiple violent incidents stemming from domestic disputes have been reported. In one case, a father-in-law allegedly attacked his daughter-in-law with a knife after she objected to him spitting gutkha in the house. In another incident, a son-in-law is accused of murdering his father-in-law, reportedly over unpaid debts, after sending another family member out for vegetables and then slitting the elder man's throat. A third incident involves a planned attack on an accused individual, allegedly as revenge for a brother's murder, using an axe and a sickle.
