Children Drown in Bihar River; 3 Dead, 2 Rescued
Five children drowned while bathing in the Barandi River in Phalka, Katihar, Bihar. Three children died, while two were rescued by villagers. The incident caused distress in the village. Another report mentions seven children were swept away in the Kamala River, with three fatalities. The latter group had gone to offer water on a Monday of the month of Sawan.
