NTA Overhaul Ordered After UGC-NET Exam Errors, Staff Sacked
Following errors in the UGC-NET exam, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will undergo a system overhaul. Education Minister Pralhad Joshi has directed a thorough audit of the NTA and ordered reforms to ensure error-free future examinations. The NTA has announced a re-test for three papers due to alleged irregularities in question papers. Over 50 NTA staff members have been sacked as part of the overhaul. The Congress has questioned the Prime Minister's responsibility in the matter.
