ED Raids KPSC Over Veterinary Officer Recruitment Irregularities
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches on August 18 at 21 locations across Karnataka and Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in connection with alleged irregularities in the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) veterinary officer recruitment. The raids targeted multiple premises, including the residence of the former KPSC chairman. The searches were carried out under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) due to allegations of corruption and a paper leak in the recruitment process.
