Bombay HC grants bail to Sachin Andure in Dabholkar murder case
The Bombay High Court has granted bail to Sachin Andure, who was convicted in the murder of rationalist Dr. Narendra Dabholkar. The court also suspended his life sentence. Andure is the second convict in the case to receive bail, with the first having been granted it in April. Dabholkar's daughter had filed an appeal challenging acquittals and the exclusion of UAPA charges, alleging the murder was part of a larger conspiracy by right-wing extremists.
