Brokerages Set Nifty Targets, Recommend Sector Bets
Two financial brokerages, Citi and JP Morgan, have issued their targets for the Nifty index. Citi set a June 2027 target of 26,800, while JP Morgan retained its target at 27,000. Both firms expressed a constructive outlook on Indian equities. Citi is favouring financials, telecom, healthcare, and utilities, while remaining underweight on IT services, staples, and metals.
