Jio Platforms IPO Receives SEBI Approval for Largest Indian Listing
Jio Platforms, led by Mukesh Ambani, has received approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for its initial public offering (IPO). The issue is expected to be India's largest stock market listing, valued at approximately ₹37,700 crore ($3.8 billion). SEBI has also issued observations on NSE's IPO draft papers and is awaiting a response. Separately, SEBI is considering new rules for small company IPOs, including institutional investor quotas and higher listing thresholds.
