India Strengthens Ties with Uzbekistan, Discusses Trade and Uranium
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Uzbekistan to upgrade bilateral ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership. During the visit, India and Uzbekistan set a trade goal of $5 billion and discussed long-term uranium supply agreements. India also aims to boost economic ties with Canada, targeting a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) by the end of 2026 and a trade target of ₹4.65 Lakh Crore by 2030. Separately, President Putin is scheduled to hold talks with PM Modi on the sidelines of the SCO summit.
