Punjab employees protest against government over DA arrears
Punjab government employees burned an effigy of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to protest the delay in the release of Dearness Allowance (DA) arrears. The strike disrupted services across the state, including Outpatient Departments (OPDs) in hospitals. Employees have vowed to intensify their stir if their demands are not met. The Punjab government has not yet responded to the employees' demands.
