US Green Card Backlog Affects Nearly One Million Indians
A backlog of US employment-based green cards has reached nearly one million, with Indians comprising 79% of the total estimated 1.26 million people in the queue. A National Foundation for American Policy (NFAP) analysis indicates that the waiting time for these green cards could extend to 179 years. The majority of these applications are from Indian professionals.
