PM Modi Attends SCO Summit, Holds Bilateral Meetings
Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Kyrgyzstan from August 31 to September 1. During the summit, he paid floral tributes at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial in Tashkent and the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial in Bishkek. He also interacted with the Indian diaspora in Kyrgyzstan and planted a tree with the Uzbek President. Modi held bilateral talks on the sidelines of the summit, including a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
