Madhya Pradesh Floods: CM Visits Chitrakoot, Relief Efforts Underway
Heavy rainfall caused the Mandakini river in Madhya Pradesh's Chitrakoot and Satna districts to overflow, leading to flood-like conditions. Over 1,000 people were rescued, and 50 villages were affected, with 400 evacuated in some reports. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited the affected areas, promising compensation for losses. At least 48 trains were impacted by the floods.
