Aon to Acquire USI Insurance Services for $17 Billion
Insurance broker Aon has agreed to acquire rival USI Insurance Services for $17 billion. Aon CEO stated the company aims to build a "premiere middle market platform" through this acquisition. The deal is expected to result in a significant financial gain for investment firm KKR, which owns USI.
